All tap classes begin with at least 15 minutes warm up, and across the floor exercises, followed by combinations designed to increase the flow, consistency, and crispness of your sound.
Building strength and coordination, jazz is a genre of dance that covers many styles. Jazz classes at the Sutton Studio combine styles to create a more knowledgable and adept dancer. All classes begin with a 30 minute warmup, 15 minutes of floor work, followed by 20 minutes of technique and learning combinations.
The building block of all dance, ballet teaches balance, control, stamina, and strength. Ballet class starts with 20 minutes at the bar, followed by 20 minutes across the floor technique and an additional 20 minutes learning a combination.
This class is meant to bring out the actor in you. Be it tap, jazz or ballet, theatre class will entertain you. Learn original choreography from shows like Grease, A Chorus Line, and Hairspray. Tap it out with 42nd Street, or be Maria in West Side Story! This class always begins with a 20 minute warmup, followed by 40 minutes to learn a combination.

Give yourself the opportunity to try them all! This class is split into two lessons: Tap & Jazz, Ballet & Jazz, or Ballet & Tap. Each month is different. Great for groups!
This is a class to improve flexibility, strength, and stretching techniques. It is, in essence, a basic workout class with a component of aerobic and anaerobic exercise that focuses on strengthening the core, lengthening muscles, and educating dancers about the need for and importance of proper warmup technique and injury prevention. All levels welcome, ages 8 and up.
Taught by certified instructors. Pilates is a technique to strengthen, lengthen, and tone muscles while increasing flexibility.
